Cameos

SEGA has been really good at scattering all of their characters throughout their games. Usually you see NiGHTS in Sonic the Hedgehog, but have you ever looked out for our groovy reporter?

Sonic Riders

Ulala is an unlockable character in this racing game. She’s in the last group of characters you unlock, NiGHTS, Aiai and herself. She has her Japanese voice in all versions of the game.

SEGA Superstars

SEGA released an eyetoy game which was a collection of their games. One being Space Channel 5. It was just like Ulala’s Dance from Space Channel 5 part 2, except you got to actually do the moves instead of pressing the buttons.

SEGA Superstars Tennis

Ulala is a character in a tennis game, joining all of her friends from other SEGA titles. There’s also a Space Channel 5 course and Pudding is also unlockable.

Feel the Magic: XY/XX

There’s a mini game where you have a Space Channel 5 dance battle. “Chu” and “Hey” are replaced with “Turn” and “Fire” You can also unlock an Ulala wig by either beting the game on Hell mode, or having a copy of “Ulala’s Cosmic Attack” or “Sonic Battle” in the GBA slot.

SEGA Splash Golf

Ulala was a caddy in the discontinued game, “SEGA Splash Golf”.

Beach Spikers

Ulala was a playable character in the volleyball game, “Beach Spikers”.

Samba De Amigo (Wii)

Mexican Flyer is on the songlist for this game. When you choose it, Ulala appears as a dancing buddy. She also appears on the song, “Groove Is in the Heart” ironically by Lady Miss Kier. Maraca sounds are also unlockable, making the higher ones “Up,” middle ones “Chu” and lower ones “Down”.

ReZ

In ReZ, you can unlock a Morolian as a playable character. The sounds get replace with the commands too (Up, Right, Left, Down, Chu).

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA

The game staring the reporter from Channel 39. Her “Space Channel 39” costume and her Ulala costume are unlockables.

Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary

In one of installments of the Puyo Puyo series, you could unlock shapes for your puyo. The morolians replaced the puyo, and hearts replaced the garbage list.

Sonic & SEGA Allstars Racing

Ulala is a playable character in another character compilation game. Her Allstar move is letting a blue Morolian take the wheel and then you can shoot your opponents with the “Chu” beam.
